After the COVID-19 pandemic, the impact on medical informatization will not only be and present, but will be more far-reaching. The progress bar of pharmaceutical informatization has been accelerated again. In the future, we will welcome the informatization transformation of the entire pharmaceutical industry.

Recently, Yangtze River Pharmaceutical and GREA Technology officially launched the cooperation of the TMS project of the warehouse center. This is the first pharmaceutical project launched by the transporter after the epidemic. At the launch meeting, President Miao personally mobilized the project and said that GREA Technology would help Yangtze River Pharmaceutical to build a refined and intelligent drug transportation system. GREA will try to realize the comprehensive upgrading of transportation management capabilities, improve work efficiency and service level, and quickly promote the informatization process of the pharmaceutical industry after the epidemic!

Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group, founded in 1971, is the first batch of innovative enterprises in China named by the Ministry of Science and Technology. It is a large-scale pharmaceutical enterprise group in China that combines industry, university and research and integrates science, industry and trade. From 2014 to 2018, Yangtze River ranked first in the list of the top 100 pharmaceutical industry enterprises released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology for five consecutive years.

Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group is headquartered in Taizhou City, Jiangsu Province. It has more than 20 member companies and its marketing network covers all provinces, cities and autonomous regions across the country. It mainly produces 11 dosage-type products, of which 5 products have been approved by the National Development and Reform Commission for separate pricing, 7 products have been listed as "national traditional Chinese medicine protection varieties", 8 products have been rated as "famous Chinese brands", more than 90 varieties have been included in the medical insurance catalogue, and more than 20 products have been sold to many countries and regions. With the increasing sales of Yangtze River Pharmaceutical and the continuous expansion of its product business, this has increased a lot of time and labor costs for enterprises that were originally dominated by transportation lines. The informatization and collaborative efficiency of transportation systems are becoming more and more important for drug transportation.

Therefore, after layers of screening, Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. finally chose to cooperate with GREA Technology. Yangtze River Pharmaceutical is not only looking at the leading position of GREA in high-end TMS in China, but also the robustness and fineness of the underlying platform of Logwire and the efficiency improvement brought by the visual operation interface.

In this cooperation, Yangtze River Pharmaceutical introduced the Logwire transportation management system, which enables it to fully cover the finished product transportation system of Yangtze River Pharmaceutical, build an integrated logistics business platform that supports the allocation and transportation between headquarters warehouses, provincial company warehouses and customer units, and provide comprehensive, real-time, transparent, accurate and flexible high-quality information support for the analysis and decision-making of the company’s management through financial management, carrier management and KPI data.

At the same time, through the system platform, the interaction and cooperation between upstream and downstream, internal departments and external carriers will be opened up, the work link will be optimized, the workflow will be simplified, the work efficiency and service level of the business department will be improved, and the business process transparent. Create transportation system specifications that meet the requirements of GSP.

For GREA, we define this cooperation as a milestone in entering the pharmaceutical industry. In the future, we will continue to explore solutions for the pharmaceutical industry and actively promote the informatization transformation of the pharmaceutical industry.
